Does anyone know of any simulator racing games for PC's for midget, sprint
cars on dirt. Sierra, if you are listening, how about a World of Outlaws
game?

" ABC's Road To Indy" has sprints (wingless) and midgets . It is NOT a sim but
it IS fun!

Actually, I meant to say the sprint portion of the game is fun whereas the IRL
part is pretty lame, (IMHO of course).
I've no doubt that Randy M will post at any moment and tell you that I haven't
spent enough time with this game and that I am soooo wrong as he has recently done
in other threads.( There- I did it for him <bg>). Let me just say I spent another
5 hours in this game last night, giving the IRL portion another chance-and guess
what, I was wrecked by the idiot AI drivers 15 times within the first 40 laps.
When looking at the replays I was the idiot twice and game AI was at fault 13
times. They ( IRL cars) have a habit of running right up into the side of you when
you are passing or clipping you in the year when they try to pass. I'm not sure if
is is intentional or not as they drive erratically most of the time anyway. They
seem oblivious to your presence a great deal of the time and often only notice
you if you stop on the track. s When stopped or slowed down some cars go around
and some ram you over and over again. The sprint car AI does the same but it is
easier to avoid it there. Just my 2 cents.

I won't take the bait on this one, but do read my review of Road to Indy at
http://www.digitalsports.com/pc/indyracing/review.html
I'll put it up against anyone else's as being the most comprehensive and
informative review, and let the reader decide what they care about and what
they don't.
