girl, LOL.
Serioslly though,
In waiting for this release, I was expecting to have to shell out for a new
pc to run it, or at least a computer upgrade. But somehow EA have managed to
bring a sim to my PC (P111, 600, 256 meg ram, 32 meg Tnt2 video card) that
i can run at full spec in 1024 x 768 with all the demo cars on and power
into the first corner with seaminly NO loss of frame rate. Its fantastic,
ive only run hot laps on earlier versions, as the frame loss was too
exsessive and made game play rs.
I have had all the iterations of the EA F1 games on this same pc, with
virtualy no alterations except direct x versions and video driver updates.
2000 was very slow, Championship season painfully slow, 2001 a lot better,
but 2002 (Demo) fantastic.
How is it that the the newest releases with all the bell and whistles in
full option mode out plays the earlirer versions?
Is this clever coding, or do the producers relaise we cant be expexcted to
upgrade pc's when ever new title emerges and have somehow delivered the
goods?
cheers
I'll be first inline for full release.
ps remember we need a download patch to pants the grid girls!!!
