f12000 makes for a good beta test

I would have bought this when it came out (still will). But I'm not going to
wait for the release when there are heaps of people here downloading and
playing NOW.

You guys with the high morals, must be feeling very ripped off (or just a
little bit tempted).

How much damage can this do? Most of the people I know with computers
wouldn't even know what a newsgroup is. So they won't be downloading it. I
don't think the number of people who now about this release will do any
great bottom line damage to EA Sports. If the number of people who indicated
they would buy it actually do, there will be very little damage from this
group.

Anyway, maybee EA Sports LEAKED this on purpose, what better way to get some
good quality feedback from a group of people how know theeir driving games.

Wouldn't supprise me if we now see the final release held back a little now
while EA work on producing a more final final.

No one "leaked" a copy to this group for any purpose.  "Ripped" copies are
available through various warez sources.  Some people from here got it...who
knows how many thousands of others who have never heard of nor could care
less about r.a.s. are also getting it.  The warez newsgroups, web sites and
ftp sites don't exist to cater to us few here.

Marc.

Okay.....on the basis of your analogy, if others are doing it then it's not
only okay for _you_ to do it but it's also okay for _everyone_ to do it?

Pity you weren't born around 1920....Hitler would've loved you.

Oh for God's sake, Bruce.  Bit of a difference there between 6+ million
Jewish people (and 40+ million others) dying before they should have; and
some software frigging company losing a few micro-percents of the bottom
line.

[choose one below]
Lighter tag: I never thought you'd turn out ot be such a relativist!
Serious tag: that's contemptible . . .
