2K?  Man, we can have some FUN here :)

ABIT KG7 Standard MB.
Athlon 1900+ Processor.
Decent heat-sink.  Frankly, the Retail HS works very well, even when using
the standard heat transfer pad.
Maxtor D740X Hard Drive.
512MB PC2100 RAM.
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Sound Card.
VisionTek GeForce 3 Ti500.
3COM or Intel BUSINESS CLASS (3C905 or Pro-100) NIC Card (avoid the cheap
stuff).
Mitsubishi DiamondPro 2060u 22" Display.
Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 Speaker System.
Lian-Li PC60usb Case.
Antec PP-352x 350w Power Supply.
Floppy (duh).
CD-ROM/DVD/CDR Drive (or all in one) as needed.
Microsoft Office Keyboard (about the best money can buy right now).
Mouse of choice.

Maybe a TAD over 2K, but very close and best-in-class in most area's.

I know it all works and works very well.   It's exactly what I'm running
(except the NIC card, I need to change mine)...

I don't know about enermax any more.  I'm starting to read more and more
postings on the net concerning weird problems with these.

I've never, ever had an issue with an Antec power supply.

LOL!  I haven't heard the cow/cork/monkey joke in a while :)
