Does anyone happen to know where a program is available that allows you
to put together and hypothetical engine and have the computer tell you
various things about he engine: HP, RPM, etc.? Thanks for any help you
can give.

I don't know the name of the software offhand, but I've seen it
advertised in Stock Car Racer magazine.

I don't know of any specific ones, but I get mailings from AutoWare
that sells software like that. Steve Smith Motorbooks probably also
sells something along those lines. Pick up an issue of Circle Track
and Racing Technology and look at the ads. They also have a periodic
(every issue even maybe) column called ***Racing that deals with the
applications of computers in racing, including chassis and engine
simulators.
