Anyone done a total on what years are most popular?

Nice idea etc etc ( I've signed it)
But as the harbinger of doom that I usually am - seems to me that Papy have
been reduced to Sierra's Nascar-making-cash-*** - someone mentioned their
next Nascar title is already in development - I have zero faith in them
anymore. 3 Nascar titles within 24 months to me stinks of EA tactics and
demonstrates the short attention span narrow minded american market's lack
of imagination.

Lol Doug... you really are Dr. Gloom.
I think this petition is remarkable whether it accomplishes anything or not.
Read the comments... 3800+ are still enjoying GPL. It has become a goodwill
ambassador for Sierra-Papyrus.

? that game is four years old and has had two sequels by TRi
That's pretty amazing too, I just didn't happen to know about it and it's
even more off topic to the thread. Does every message have to contain a
yardstick to put it into context by?

Sierra couldnt care how many are 'still' playing GPL
They just want people to buy their new products - and will keep demanding
Papy make the most profitable product sierra could ask for - i.e. Spazcar
Doug
There's profit, then there's PR. Nascar titles may be popular, and many are
good, but gpl is a PR product, since it helps give Papyrus/Sierra a
"pedigree".
Would Subaru's be so desirable if they had never 'wasted' money on racing?

I think it's pretty interesting discussion, but I definitely agree that the
petition is worth signing. There's nothing to lose by signing, and
potentially something worthwhile could come out of it.
I signed the Futurama one too!
