<sigh>  While the graphics in this game may not be on par with some other
games, I found the demo to be really fun.  Does anyone know when this is due
in the states?  I see the UK got it already.

Not for a while I think. I've just bought the PC version (just out in UK) and
this is a very rich game indeed. Aw what problems - 4 new titles in the UK in
one week GPL, CMR, MGPRS2 and NFS3. How I am to find the time to enjoy all of
these - and they all seem to be great.

I have no idea when it will be out in the us, but I`m replying about the
graphics.

The only real thing that I noticed, and thought was a bit ***was the 2d
bitmaps for the trees / spectators / bushes, but the track detail, and
textures on the hills and grass is great. Besides, when your hurtling down
the side of a mountain at 80mph, you tend to focus on the track ahead of
you, and the trees are just in your periphiral (spelling?) vision, and you
can`t even tell.

Remember, 10 years ago, most games relied on their gameplay, because the
graphics were fairly poor. Colin mcrae has the best of both worlds in my
opinion.
