by KOLEGA Tom » Tue, 30 Aug 1994 10:38:05

Hello.

I was having problems installing INDYCAR V1.0 on my computer the other
day. My computer is a 486DX2-66 with 4Meg Ram. When it started it came up
with the startup screen then stopped, and at the dos prompt said, Not enoguh
memory....or somehting like that....memory allocation problem!!!!

It was runnign in EMS mode so i can't see the problem!!!!

Does anybody have any clues!!!

Cheers
Tommy

--- Problem number one is what you mention above.  REMOVE all EMS memory
managers, program runs in Extended Memory (protected mode at that).  Consult
the "Installation Guide" sheet included or the README.xxx file on the
disks. (I forget what 1.0 said in the README file, pick up 1.2 or 1.4 for
better info).  Also create a "Boot Disk" will help you out as well if you
really get stuck.

Goof luck
