Neal perhaps you need some more practice at the game.....

I (playing of a PC) notice a difference on a the third (full) lap...

I get a lot more squeeling noises from the tyres and I can never pull
a fast lap...    I generally put is a safe qualifier on the 1st lap,
then go for it on the 2nd (pushing very hard), but by the 3rd..!

perhaps there is a difference between the Amiga and the PC....
