Has anyone thought about writing a patch for Indy Car or for Nascar that
will allow a randomized qualifying of cars (ie some cars qualify for a
race some do not).

I think there are two available, and the way they work is they mess with
the drivers2.txt file prior to running a race.  Gerhard Lingenberg wrote
one, and I think Mike Corrigan wrote the other.  You can find both at
