"good" weather in racing sims

Is there a list somewhere of the racing sims
that has good impementations
of weather BOTH in graphics and handling impact?
Toca 1 wasn't good enough in that sense,and I don't
remember if i paid any attention to that feature
when trying the TOCA2 demo.

Both Monaco Grand Prix Racing Sim 2 and Sports Car GT have weather
effects. The MGPRS2 rain is excellent, with a great 'on-coming' rain
feel and spray from opponents.

SCGT also has rain effects, but no 'on-coming' rain. The spray effects
are good, and the handling is slippery, though SCGT has a tendency to be
a bit less so than MGPRS2.

It depends if you want to race Sports Cars or F1 cars. MGPRS2 takes a
lot of practice to get good, but is an excellent sim (the graphics are
bright, unlike GPL which tends towards more authentic looking scenery
and hillsides, etc. - it's a matter of personal preference - though
1990's F1 is more colourful than 1967 F1).

Both of these sims require some serious horsepower, both in CPU and
video card. At least a 3DFx card and a PII, with a PIII and Voodoo 2
card being recommended, with a cable modem for multiplayer (though the
Ubisoft Game Service has been used with fine results with a P166 and a
33.6 connection for a race of MGPRS2).

Hope this helps.

You're right, I had forgotten about SCGT.I'll check up on that one soon.
I tried the demo of mgprs2,but I don't know .......I had just tried
Indycar 2 right before that one,and tried the GPL demo right afterwards,
so it diminished my impression of the sim in general......
I also didn't like it because it seemed to have less visual depth
than ICR2 and GPl,which made it difficult to judge distances.
Also ,as far as i remember,I don't think there was any weather in the demo
of mgprs2
(I'll check that again soon)

thanks,
