They didn't start making the Boss 302 until 1969
http://www.racesimcentral.net/
and this particular model of Mustang was a 68 ,not 67.
Although it was inspired by the Bullit (movie) car (67),
the car used as an example for the artists was the 68
(see the online help...which is excepted below)
--------------
'68 Ford Mustang Fastback

The '68 Ford Mustang Fastback is a muscular member of the classic Mustang
breed. Like the real thing, the Midtown Madness Fastback has lots of
straight-line power and good top speed, but scores lower in cornering,
braking, and durability.

Use the '68 Ford Mustang Fastback when you need straight-line acceleration
and top speed. A few Blitz Races come to mind.

I bought it.  I love it.  Now I've got a question:  any cheat codes?  I would
like to get some of those cars without trying too hard....  I wanna try out
that Boss 302 and the Panoz GTR...

There are "cheats" out there, but I forgot where I got mine.  Also, the Boss
302 isn't in the game as far as I know, just the '67 Fastback.

Hmm, they say on the box for the game "and muscle car fans bullett through the
streets in a '67 Mustang Boss 302."

It's not a Boss 302, trust me.  It's the '67 Mustang Fastback with the 289.  If
it is a '67 Boss 302, then I've never seen one like that before.

Thanks for clearing it up, must've been a typo on the back of the game's box.

Hehe, too bad they didn't have a black Dodge Charger to chase you around
Chicago.
