Vette! is re-born ! Well it's not "exactly" like the old racing game but
it's VERY close ! Almost a clone.

OMG a Panoz ! Old Mustang ! 12wheeler !  At Chicago ! :-D

Im really drooling... BIG grin.. can't wait ! :)

I always wanted a "Microsoft Driving Simulator", so let's hope it's the
first step into this ! :)

There's no mention of it  being developed by T.R.I., also... hmm hmm

Well, before everyone gets all whipped up about this; let's not forget the
"wonderful" job that TRI and Microsoft did with CPR.  A game that could have
been awesome was rushed out, given a quick patch and left for dead.  Let's hope
they have changed since then.

TRI, is not developing Midtown Madness.

TRI currently uses the Gathering of Developers for publishing it's games and
will not release a game until it is properly finished.

Thanks,
John

I have had an Idea for a driving game for along time that would be very
similar I think. It would be called Late for work or Rush Hour and have
realistic roads with traffic, stop signs, lights and cops. It would have
realistic car physics and damage like Viper racing. You could do all the
things you wish you could do when your late for work like run a stop sign,
weave through traffic at 100mph or put the car in low gear and push that
slow car in front of you out the way (or maybe the hornball cheat <g>).
This new game sounds like they might have gotten the idea from the Blues
Brothers Movie that had a car chase in Chicago.
Looks like fun,
Lutrell :-)

You played "Vette!" ?  San Franscico Rush was an attempt at that.  Vette! to
this day has been the most entertaining sim for me, it was a blast with my
mouse wheel. :-)
Just thinking about it I gotta get that on the PC I'm on now.

There have been quite a few Vette! immatators, 2 that have even dealt with
the same city; I hope Microsoft does a good job on it.
