Charles, I found your lap records list #2 (July issue) and I was
suprised to find my Michigan best lap on it. I posted that setup in hopes
of
more people doing the same as well as helping fellow drivers to enjoy the
sim
more. I also noticed that there is much empty space on your list, so
following is the rest of my best laps(Glen Kendall) as well as a
co-worker's
best laps (Jerry Cyrul). All of the config codes are: W, S, Y, V, F.
Date can be today's, 95/7/8.

On my blaps with a (*), I had no lap so I loaded the ace set-up and
turned
a few to get a number. I think some of Jerry's blaps are quite impressive,
since he runs his sim on a 386DX-40 (no detail except car paint, 2-4 cars
max).
I run mine on a 486DX-100, but I only run svga in pre-season. I run my
races in vga, with a full field, no detail except car and track paint. My
blaps are all set in race trim, NOT a qualifing set-up. I don't even
bother
to qualify. I love to start on the last row and really mix it up going to
the
front ( I have set all of the drivers agressive numbers to 999 999). Most
of
my blaps seem to come in at 3/8 tank, with the tires going away soon
after
that.
I only have one suggestion for your listing format, that is to list the
current real world lap record under the track name. Jeff Gorden put Dover
up
to 153.669, and he also put Michigan up to 186.somthing. There are other
new
track records, but I did'nt take notes.
May you have the best of luck keeping track of all of this.
