Hey, did anyone see the add for the new thrustmaster force feedback wheel in
the latest pcgamer?  Looks just like the nascar pro wheel, except with 4
buttons on the steering wheel instead of two(I guess that gives us two more
buttons we can short out :-)  ).Just wondering what everyones thoughts are
on it.

I saw the ad also. I thought Thrusmaster gave up on the idea of force
feedback
wheels or maybe it was CH Products? Is this another "feel the bumps and
crashes"
FFback wheel or did they figure out how to give real feed back from the cars
handling?

I saw a news release at the Thrustmaster Web page, I think from May 98.
It talked about the Force feedback wheel.

feedback effects will bring them one step closer to the track. We
look
forward to bringing this innovative product to NASCAR racing
    enthusiasts."

on
the cutting edge of simulated racing," stated George Pyne, NASCAR
    Vice President of Marketing.

Celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 1998, NASCAR is considered
Americas fastest growing sport. NASCAR racing attracted 11 million
fans and 183 million television viewers in 1997. NASCAR has thir***

divisions of racing which compete in more than 2,200 events each
year.
NASCARs Licensing Department is charged with providing greater
opportunities for NASCAR teams, drivers and tracks. NASCAR is able
to assist licensees by utilizing its ten licensed television shows,
four
licensed radio programs, eight licensed publications and NASCAR
Online
(http://www.racesimcentral.net/). Other resources include partnerships with
more than 100 other licensees, 28 official status companies and
NASCARs offices in Daytona Beach, New York City, C***te and

Sounds Great but I think N2 does not have FF support. Maybe N3?
