New Thrustmaster wheel?

I read a post on one of the newssites about a new wheel from Thrustmaster; I
think it was called a "Nascar digital" or something like that.  Anyway, the
thrustmaster site isn't letting me in, and I was wondering if anyone knew
anything about it or its specs (force feedback?, shifter?, clutch pedal?,
hand brake?).  Thanks in advance for any info.

New Thrustmaster wheel?

They've had the NASCAR Digital out for a while now, probably 6-8
months, I have one, but they are notorious for dead spots and other
various problems. It's one of these wheels that is awesome "when you
find out how to get it to work properly in whatever you're doing".

They mysteriously have a NASCAR Digital 2 out. Other than being blue
on the desktop part there is no other explanation. Sounds to me like
they fixed the bugs and are making people buy a new wheel. The regular
Digital should be recalled and/or fixed. Probably also made it blue so
that all the pissed people with the first Digital can't take them back
in exchange for a new one.

Sent my NASCAR Pro Dig in for warranty repair after about 1 month and got a
Guillemot Ferrari FF back in it's place.....they said it was a shipping error
but to keep it but from what I am hearing it could be that the Pro Digital
wasn't worth them fixing it....just a thought.

New Thrustmaster wheel?

The NASCAR Pro Digital is an iffy wheel.  It's pretty basic (not
FF, no clutch or anything like that), and not especially well
made.  The pedals feel OK, but the pedal base is way too light
and hard to anchor.  Wheel action is good at first but it gets
to feeling loose and grindy pretty fast.  The dead zone can be
very tricky to set up right.  Even if you can get it cheap, it's
still probably better to spend more and get something a bit more
rugged & built to tighter tolerances.
