Has anyone else had problems with AI pitting way too early on many
tracks? The best example is Bristol where AI cars start their
scheduled pit stops on lap 78 and you still have over 10 galloons of
fuel and your tires are O.K, too. Rockingham, Richmond, Atlanta and
Darlington pit windows have also needed adjusting.
Jim Sokoloff wrote some time ago that changing the pit windows may
cause problems with AI tire wear but I haven't noticed anything yet.
It feels like cheating when you don't have to pit at the same time
with AI. I think Papyrus hasn't tested fuel consumption enough. They
may have taken the pit windows from real NASCAR races.
