Do you have to join Ten to be a part of this?  Or is it a free thing?

You'll have to sign up for Ten, I believe they have a trial membership so
you can try it out. If it doesn't meet your expectations than you may
cancel.

If you pay for 3months at once, it's $13.30 a month for
unlimited game play (N2 and all the other TEN games)
provided you already have internet access.

You can run pickup races and user created leagues at the
above price, just like Hawaii. They haven't announced the cost
of running in the Nascar sanctioned NROSeries yet.

I just signed on and there's 130 guys on there already.
Must have all been sick today ;-)

TEN has a variety of pricing plans. For info:

Just a breakdown for you to use David.

Hawaii cost  =  0
Long distance  =  .10 a minute average  $6.00 an hour

charges rack up pretty fast.

Ten:

ISP charges.  This varys from person to person but lets say flat rate
18.00/month
Ten charges.  once again, not the same for everyone but lets say
17.00/month

from here, that adds up to about $35.00 a month.  Pretty good deal
compared to some guys that had $400.00+ phone bills on Hawaii at times.

Could be extra charges if you use TEN's preferred dial-ups at $1.95 an
hour.  Still alot cheaper than racing on Hawaii...IMHO.

About right...

Can get it for $13 a month if you sign up for 3 at a time

It's only $0.95 an hour...
