...in the Busch race today, does anyone know how he actually did in the
Goody's Dash? I'm afraid my cable co is conspiring against me, since we
don't get Speed Channel.

He finished 23rd but from what I understand he was leading and was called
into the pits only to have the race end under a rain delay.

That's not the way I remember it. From what I remember, he started somewhere
in the ***s and worked his way up a few spots. then he got shuffled back a
few times during the race and was pretty much near the back of the lead pack
most of the race. Hard to tell, because the cameras and commentators were
mostly on the leaders during the broadcast. He looked like he was doing ok,
but he was mostly towards the back of the lead pack. On the last caution, he
came in to top off, because he was near the back of the lead lap cars
anyways. Then the rains came...

Haven't seen the race myself. Thats what I was told. Apparently the source
may have been wrong.

I apologize for posting the results of a days old race.

***ing christ, I didn't realize that such a small competition would've made
such a difference. No worries though, Dave, after the 22nd you won't have to
worry about a goddamn thing like that happening from myself again.

Will...sorry...I hoped the LOL would show I wasn't really mad about the
Goody's results..Even so pegging the $$ made it, I thought, even more
absured.  I wasn't banging on you specifically but I did use your post to
hopefully warn the rest of the group.  Every year we have people, either
working or overseas, that can't view a race on the same day.
Please accept my apologies for not being more clever and using a
separate post.
