you just unzip the Winston Cup cars into the main heat folder.  However
you can't use them unless they are also added to the drivers.txt.  But if
you are running an online league, you only need your car in the drivers.txt,
the rest will automatically show up.

Also if you are adding cars to a mod...like the CARTHeat or DTM, those
cars go in the new subfolder  i.e. the Champcars go into
C:\prorgram files\hasbro interactive\nascar heat\cartheat
and the dtm would end in this path..
nascar heat\dtm

so just to be sure i get this right...car (.tex file) just goes into main
directory..(the "main" .tex should be there too?)...then just open the
drivers.txt with an editor and add the car in the same format as the others
already there?

Pretty much...don't use a car # that is already taken.  If say...you want
to run car with the #2 on it...then because Rusty's car is hardcoded in, you
should give your car(in the txt file) a number like 222 or 102 or 302.  It
will show the larger number in the car while racing if you use the F5 key,
but it won't confuse the sim with the real #2.
and sorry, when I said main folder...I meant the Nascar Heat folder.  (all
the mods and subfolders will be inside that so I referred to it as the main
folder ..there is NO folder called Main...)
