OEM vs. Retail

What's the difference between oem and the retail versions of a product? I
can save 60 bucks by buying the oem versions of V3 2000 and Diamond MX300.
It's very tempting as that 60 bucks will buy me NLegends and a tank of gas.
But will quality suffer? Do they come with the drivers?

Thanks guys.

generally speaking you don't get the fancy box and extra packing stuff.
paperwork will be minmimal but enough to get the job done. save the money if
you can handle the install.JM

        When it comes to HARDWARE there are just a few differences;
the most important being OEM does NOT qualify for rebates!  It usually
comes in a plain white box with NO manuals (maybe a 2-page flyer) and
CD.  Rarely do any of the games that come with the retail product get
included. Otherwise they're basically the same.
