I read somewhere EA Sports will be doing
a F1 game.
Is this true and what sort of release date are they
talking about ?

I hope not:-) Cause EA is the worst company to "make"
online racing something enjoyable...

Do you think SBK is that bad? It seems fine to me except
for the poor "ai" diversity. Of course I agree that EA does
appear to have a bad sim track record

Now there's a scary thought ;-)...I for one hope that Microprose again gets
the nod. Knowing their track record, it would ensure gp3 not being released
until 2001at the earliest, which would suit me fine because I'm havin' too
much fun with gpl to look at anything else for the immediate future. It will
be interesting to see if Crammond can better gpl's incredible d/m and
physics, although going by his last two efforts i wouldn't put it past him.
Cheers Phil

The same thing happens with 'Prose games. They put them out waaay
early then wait ages to release a good enough patch to make it
worthwhile (if ever). At least if EA was publishing the game, provided
Geoff Crammond gets to finish it himself, they would have the rights
to current F1 licenses and the game would feature '99 or '00 cars
instead of historical '96 or worse cars.
