have a voodoo 5 5500 agp.
Hope someone can help

Sorry to pick on you Kevin because lots of people do this, but it would help
to know which game you are talking about. N4? GPL? FICS? MBTR? etc.

More details on exactly what flags and colours you mean wouldn't hurt
either.

Well, it is a well known fact that the D3D patch for GPL has this
effect. The best solution with a Voodoo5 is to use Glide. He has to
sacrifice the hi-res dashboards though, or use split versions.

Probably GPL, since i have the same problem.  Yellow gets green, Blue gets
white, when waved it changes color every other frame.

Very annoying.

I never had any problems with the wrong colored flags..if someone was
waving
one at me..I pretty much could figure out what it was for...especially if I
had an
impatient AI car filling my mirrors...

Why on earth would he want to use D3D anyway when he has a 3dfx card???

Marc.

Damn right. D3D is a slug compared to Glide.

Somehow, D3D works better on the V5 than Glide in GPL. Specially with
FSAA.

Yeah, I have this problem too: Blue flags all around everytime I race.
Until the bug is fixed, I will just ignore them.

Is it just me that has found that OpenGL outperforms D3D by a country
mile? (I have a  Geforce DDR)

Sorry, I should have been more specific, which sim is giving Andy
Straw better OpenGL performance in comparison to D3D?
