Rally Masters Question

by Pete » Wed, 24 May 2000 04:00:00

I just got Rally Masters from a friend in Europe(not released in N.A.)
and I have been trying to get the settings for my wheel and
pedals(Thrustmaster
Nascar Pro) set correctly. There is nothing in the manual describing what
the
individual settings control and which way to go with the values.
I'm starting to get competitive with some of the online racers but they
still
seem to have more control of their cars than I can get. Does anyone have
some baseline values I can try or suggestions?

Rally Masters Question

This newsgroup should be called rec.auto.simulator.gpl because 99% of the
messages are about GPL, and that's quite boring. Especially since everyone
seems to ignore messages about Rally games. Perhaps most of you guys don't
know how fun Rally really is :)

I like Rally Masters my self but I can't help you since I don't got a
Thrustmasters Wheel

The beauty of the newsgroups is that everyone can discuss whatever topic
they choose. There is a reason that GPL is still being discussed and
noone is forced into talking just about it. If you look closer you will
see that F1 2000 is generating quite some response as well. It's just a
matter of what exactly captures the imagination of the people playing
racing sims.

Rally Masters Question

I don't much care about GPL, at least at the level it is worshipped here, so
I have a filter set up to delete all posts that have GPL in the title.  As
soon as something else GPL-related starts getting lots of posts (like
Snetterton) I just killfile that word, too.

It's pretty easy to filter out what you don't like in a newsgroup and makes
it much nicer (and quicker) to look through on a regular basis.  I use the
same newsreader as you do, so it should be very easy for you to do as well.
