Hi, I made my first attempt at a program cover for GPL and posted it on
alt.binaries.simulators.autos this evening.

It's a cover and map page for Riverside International Raceway.

Thanks Dave. At the speed I'm doing these, GPaL will be released before I
will ever finish them all<vbg>. I'm working on Laguna, Ontario and Riverside
right now. I have a lot of old race programs from these tracks so it's easy
to find logos and photos. Unfortunately I spend more time reading the
articles in the programs than I do working. I'd like to find a site to post
them on, otherwise I'll just continue to put them up in the alt.binaries
newsgroup.

One magazine I recieved from a friend recently is called "Raceway", the
official magazine for Riverside Raceway. The issue I have is from December
'67 and includes race reports from the Can-Am and USAC races from Riverside
and the Grand Prix from Mexico. Some of the GP drivers entered in the Can-Am
included Bruce McLaren, Denis Hulme, Dan Gurney, Chris Amon and John
Surtees, the winner of the previous event in Las Vegas. Gurney and Surtees,
along with Jimmy Clark, also made the start of the Rex Mays 300 USAC race at
RIR the previous month. It's unfortunate that today's drivers are not able
to drive in more than one series.
