What a piece of SHIT!! The game has great graphics and runs very
smoothly, but the driving physics are terrible! You can actually go
through pretty much all 30 stages without having to touch your brakes! I
am not exaggerating either.

I had been hoping the I.R.C. game would be like an updated "Network Q
Rally" but it could not have been more different.

Another thing that pisses me off with this game is its different random
weather scenarios on different stages. They appear to graphically do a
great job on the weather. They have great fog effect, as well as rain.
However, the thing that pisses me off is the fact that when the view is
poor (say due to fog) you are forced to use the co-driver to inform you
of the road up ahead. Problem is, this stupid co-driver doesn't really
give you enough information to really get the most out of the machine.
Saying "HARD LEFT" or "EASY RIGHT" doesn't really tell you a hell of
alot. The co-driver should also be calling out "WATER AHEAD", "SURFACE
CHANGE" (eg. dirt to mud, etc...) "ROAD NARROWS", etc...etc...

Old game, old news.  It is a piece of crap.  We'll see about the new Rally
99, though, which seems like more of a return to the Network Q approach (and
it is based back on the Network Q tracks, as well).

Couldn't agree more. CMR is brilliant though, and I'm also looking forwards
to Rally99 which looks promising, although I have serious doubts if it'll
run on my system (which I just upgraded to a Celeron333, RivaTNT)....

Nice thing about CMR is that it does give some decent pace notes, although
it doesn't include condition changes, or distances to the next corner. If
you're interested, check out my review on the www.gamesdomain.co.uk site.

Rehan
