What do the numbers mean when you go into the drivers.txt file.  There are
a lot of numbers and I was just wanting to know what they meant. Is there a
web site that will tell me this. Thanx

Here's a reply I culled from the archives:

Hi Dave,

The numbers stand for:

Car Number..Chassis..Tyres..Power..Traction..Drag...Aggression

The Power rating dictates acceleration; Traction governs cornering
speed; Agression indicates how ealily the driver will move over when
challenged and Drag dictates wind resistance and straightaway speed.

The base line for these ratings is 500 and that value is adjusted up
or down to reflect relative ratings for each driver.

Higher ratings for Power, Traction and Drag indicates higher
performance.   The opposite for Drag.   The game randomly selects a
number within each range, generating a different number of each
session.   The wider the range, the less consistent that car will be.

Hope that explains it.
