Cornering" brought up some interesting information (I attempted to follow up
the exact post but the news system was zonked out). Basically, it seems like
the processor occupancy affects lap times. So...
Would all of you kind and wonderful [quit crawling, Gizmo!] Hall Of Fame
drivers give me some sort of indication of what type of machine you're using
(386DX/33, 486DX2/66, Pentium 90, etc.), what bus your graphics card lives on
(MCA, ISA, EISA, Vesa local (VLB), PCI), and what sort of occupancy you get
when in the***pit (not in external views, which is higher; eg. 40%, 60%,
110%). Hopefully this will help reveal any patterns in lap times versus machine
speed.
Thanks in advance!
