Since you have GPL, I will say you want realism, no ? Don't go in the
direction of Buying EA-Sports related racing games (NRevolution, N99,
etc..). Go with the Papyrus line of titles.
Nascar Racing 99 is based on N2. It has 34 tracks (WinstonCup, BGN and
Truck series) + a better 3dfx support, Truck with different physics, Windows
support, etc.. At the moment I would say go with this one. It's cheap also,
around 30$. And you have a full N2 version on the CD so you can race on the
NROS, the official Nascar sanctioned 14th division.
You can also wait until Fall of 99 and get Nascar Racing 3, who uses the GPL
engine and is MUCH, MUCH better than anything you ever seen ! As for
website, you can check out http://www.racesimcentral.net/;and also
http://www.racesimcentral.net/***world/ (about 4000cars or so, plenty of
utilities).
So it's up to you to wait a little or get NR99 and wait a little also ;-)
