I went into my .plr file and made the Steer Left and Right and Look Left and
Right commands the same. Try driving like that a few laps. :)

That thread has some good info in it, but I believe you may have missed what
I was talking about.

I changed the .plr file so that when I turn the wheel left, I automatically
look in that direction. Same with turning right. It gives you alot better
feel of speed and I think it actually helps me in my cornering because I'm
always looking in the direction of car travel. Without it, I believe you
overdrive the turn because you are always looking straight.

There is an easier and more tweakable way of doing that.  Look at the bottom
two items in the Digital Controllers menu, something like "look ahead" and
"follow".  Crank them both up to 100% and try them.  You will probably need
to undo your .plr file tweak first or it will get messed up.  Or just create
a new player and try it, I have about 6 different player files right now for
different mods and control setups.

If ya like that try this.  It gives you advanced head physics.  Add it to
your .plr file at the end of the [Graphics Options] section.  Not only will
your head turn with the wheel but this gives you forward back movement from
the "G's".  Great sense of speed.  IMO best yet.

Back up your .plr file first ok :)

Glance Rate="7.00000" // Rate to follow controller for glancing
Look Up/Down Angle="0.75000" // Angle to look up/down (pitch) w/ controller
in radians (= degrees / 57)
Leanahead Angle="0.00000" // Angle to lean head (roll) w/ steering in
