A new contract from 2004-2010 will see the Chinese GP added to the F1
calendar.  Rumour has it they've spent $440 million dollars on making the
track.  Imagine how over-sanitized THAT will be!    : D

It'll be another clone of the new Hockenheim circuit I bet. And that's a
travesty that they ripped up the original. Thank the lord that it's
preserved in many sims the world over (he says trying to bring it back on
topic-ish).
I wonder why they don't have a three lap race with one compulsory pit stop,
it would be the same net result and the program would be short enough to
slip in before the coronation omnibus...
Ah, the shame of it all.

Great.
This is fantastic news. We might see some worthwhile racing on these
magnificent circuits instead :-)

Compared to most current F1 tracks, that looks pretty good.  That big
descending radius turn by the 5 looks pretty nice (assuming they run
it clockwise).  Looks like an overexaggerated turns 1 and 2 from the
Rodriguez circuit, looking forward to losing my ass end under braking.

Am I the only one that thinks it looks pretty cool? If they make it
wide enough I think it would be great.

yeah
and take out that stupid excuse of a racing circuit Monaco

how they managed to excuse that as a circuit is really beyond anyone
even the drivers cant justify that sorry place

From the layout of the kitty-litter traps, looks like a clock-wise
configuration. The decreasing radius turn at the end of the pit straight
looks sort of contrived, as does the increasing-radius turn leading on
to the long straight with a hairpin at the end. Hard to tell if there
are any elevation changes. Are those two bridges over the pit straight?

There are so many chicane-riddled tracks on the circuit now, I'd have a
hard time picking a circuit I'd like to see replaced!
