???

You can download it from the free servers just like everything else on
fileplanet.

You have to sign up at Fileplanet (no big wiggle there) before you can
download from the "public" servers, but the wait is generally 1/2 to 1 hour.
And then the bandwidth isnt anything special. Downloading anything big still
takes a while, plus the wait in line delay.
The alternate is becoming a member (for a fee), and have access to
immediate downloads (i have no idea what the bandwidth assignment is on the
private servers).
I use Fileplanet faithfully for smaller d'loads, but honestly wouldnt use
the public server for a honking d'load. PCG or someone will have it on a
demo disc. (i hope).
P.S. No, i am not on dial-up either.

I agree that its out. Shame they have f***ed up the best single player
FPS game ever.

Is it anywhere else but _FilePlanet_.  Man, I hate that place.

Yeah, its out alright and getting major bashing and disgust from 95% of
gamers. Boy, did Eidos mess up a good game that was Deus Ex. Shame too.

Man, I was a huge fan of Deus Ex.  The only thing this demo rocked was my
faith in the developers....

I went there for this demo yesterday morning, all servers said "no wait", and
got the fastest download I've ever seen.  Got the whole 250 megs in 14 minutes
flat.  Average speed of 274KB/sec.

Maybe it's just a matter of timing.
