Hi everyone,

Just been up the shops and seen Mercedes Truck Racing. Seems to have been out a
while but somehow I missed it. It looks quite nice from the box, and from the
pics on the THQ website (http://www.racesimcentral.net/).

Has anyone played it? Is it any good?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks,

I'll 2nd that, I got it just before Xmas and played it nearly every day
since.
The online (internet) play isn't too good though, seems a bit warpy, and
when the warps happen the other truck just stops on the track, it can cause
some wild crashes that put GPL to shame !! :).

There isn't a noCD patch for the UK version yet so I have to keep putting
the CD in, I hate it when they do that ;)

It's the sim of the year.

Shame that sites like HighGear don't really promote this excellent
simulation. Heck they didn't even list it in their game of the year poll,
but they surely did list GP3 <G> What a shame on them, their bias is
obvious.

Since it's the new year and people have to be nice to eachother and all this
sorts of things....I have decided to be nice

the season and I'll try to fix you a day you won't forget, how about a ride
in the truck ?

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all of your helpful and positive comments about Mercedez Benz Truck
Racing. As a result, I did buy it yesterday.

After a couple of hours of practice I have to say that I think it's excellent.

The fact that it's these trucks that we're racing in this game, very different
to the race cars, sports cars and performance road cars of other sims, gives
the game an added dimension, ie you can't just go straight into it and expect
to be fast. At least, I'm not! *S* Lots of practice and learning needed, I
think. And that's good! *S*
