The H**** word Eldred. Which I think will now go on my Banned Words list
with T*** Effin G*****
Miguel Duhammel,(I'm such a sick ***ed racer-groupie I remember
reading about Miguel's dad, Yvon Duhamel's days back when Kawasaki first
started road racing in the States when he went up against guys like Gary
Nixon and Kenny Roberts)Colin Edwards, Nicky Hayden, Ricky Carmichael,
Jeremy McGrath etc.
Curiously, I was often anti-H***** when they were teamed up with
Mclaren in F1. I dunno why. Now that they are part of the chasers it's
not so bad, but when Prost and Lauda and Senna were there...I'd pull for
them to break. I even owned one of the first H**** two strokes when
they finally began trying to compete with the Suzukis and Yamahas and
Husqvarnas and Maicos of the early 70s. It was the Enduro..Elisinore MT
250. Shiny black frame, silver tank and fenders and a BROWN engine. :)
Loved that bike. I replaced almost everything I could on that one..new
pipe, new shocks, new aluminim rims, new oversized plastic fenders,
removed the HUGE tail/brakelight assembly and replaced it with tiny tiny
taillight. Big Cheng Sheng knobbies replaced the inbetweener tires all
enduro's had back then. When it came time to rebore the cylinder, I used
the Motocrosser CR's piston and put a 3 gallon Desert Tank on(I ran out
of gas once riding alone when I was going to see a classmate who spent
her summer working in a Forest Service Fire Lookout on top of a
mountain.) It was street legal back then, but would have never been
certified these days. It ended up being stolen from my backyard one
summer.
Well enough of my off-topic wandering...Screw TG and his bags of money
that H#$!(# and Toy*** are throwing around. the irl of today is the very
same thing T effin G complained about CART being back when he started the
irl for AMERICAN drivers. yeah right big guy.
Ask my wife...I'm REALLY a fairly mild fellow. I'm as laid back as
Jimmy Buffet after a day full of Margaritas. You cain't get a rise outta
me except for one topic.
There is a 1 man project to get a CART mod finished for F1c.(my GOD!
He's on topic!!!!) I have CART mods for GP4 and F1 2k2, but the F1c one
should be the best of the lot.
I've collected F1c compatible tracks for various CART/OWRS venues. Some,
like the 2003 Vancouver are near useless due to narrowness<being a
conversion from Toca Race Driver>, but Cleveland, Road America, Portland,
Laguna, Toronto, LONG BEACH(just released yea!) Houston, Detroit Belle
Isle, Mid Ohio, the Rio quad Oval, Hermanos, the Rockingham Brit oval,
the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, the Aussie Gold Coast/Surfer's Paradise,
are all quite raceable. JB had a bunch of the Nascar Thunder tracks for
his open wheel mod, but his site was down last time I looked. I would
still need Milwaukee, and California, and the roadie at Monterey Mexico.
[and now South Korea]{the St Petersburg city/airport layout looked cool,
it's a shame nobody built that one either}
but I do have a Michigan oval and that could be a substitute for the
Cali track. I realized I left out Denver...another city track that needs
a track builder to dig into.
In closing, I'd just like to add,
They can take away our manufacturers, they can take away our drivers and
owners, They can mothball Lolas with Ford Powerplants, but t EFFIN g
can't take away one thing...our F R E E D O M ! :)</cue music, drop the
hankie/>
