N2002 install?

Just bought N2002 and was wondering if there is anything I need to know
about that will make the install go smoothly? Like patches, controller
issues or stuff like that. Or is it just a regular install?

no patches yet, should just be put it in the cd drive and let it fly.  If you ran N4 or GPL and you
had no sound/controller/video issues, you should be fine.

N2002 install?

The game tells you you need Direct X 8.1 to play. I "declined" the offer
and stayed with Direct X 8.0a without problems.
