...that Sierra be written to by the lot of us and urged to support Papy
making something - anything! - other than ***y NASCAR games!

(Yeah, OK, this is just a post born out of frustration at GPL Oulton
Park's non-appearance...)

Tour de France sim

This might sound harsh, but it's no wonder I don't find this place very
useful anymore.  All we get are the following types of posts:

1)  GPL (Long): More of the same stuff about GPL and how great a simulation
it is.  While I agree with everyone's estimation of this sim, nothing new
ever comes from these posts.

2) What's Should Papy do next:  These post are insufferable.  A few hundred
respondents rattled of incoherent stuff like "CART!" and the like until the
thread dies out 100 messages later.

3)  WSC: Anything and all to do with this imaginary sim is all bunk and not
informative at all.

So be it.  There's hardly any technical help here nor any posts that are
truly meaningful.  It's run by a group of ten or so posters who keep walking
the same terrain over and over, like an 80 year-old man who talks of nothing
but the past.

[snipped all except titles of the next three sections]

Weeell... I don't think it's fair to say that there's "hardly any
technical help" - you very rarely get a question that isn't answered on
that subject; one can hardly post an answer if no-one's asked the
question!

The point about the NG being repetitive is reasonable - but having said
that, Rally Trophy is starting to get up momentum in terms of posts
now; I'd say that it's overtaken WSC in popularity of posting.

Was a joke, poking fun at CART/IRL about how they are all just parades on
wheels at 230mph every race :)
