RASF1?

If I remember correctly, everything was turned off except TC, auto shift,
and invulnerability.

Hey, what axis sensitivity were you guys talking about?  The only thing I saw
was digital steering help, or something like that.
I'm only getting 39fps, which is probably causing me problems, but I keep
spinning exiting the turns.  I'm scared to make any steering inputs, or step on
the gas - the car keeps getting away from me...

Click on the joystick icon, and then look to the left side of the screen and
select the joystick 1 icon. X axis sensitivity is at the top. It's probably
at 50% (default). Try lowering it to 30-35%. Also, if you're using my setup,
remember to adjust the steering lock downward if the steering is still too
twitchy.

Turn circuit detail, player, pit crew animations, and other vehicle detail
levels to low. Also, vehicle lighting effects to low. Turn broadcast
overlays and movies off. All those things should help your fps.

Are you using TC? Put it on high if needed.

I couldn't get ONE clean lap in 8  using your setup...<g>  I think I already
have all those detail settings to low or off.  We'll see what happens.
