Losing controls in GP3, please help me out...

I am going insane here. Love the game but my ACT-Labs Force RS system
totally loses control once in a while. When in the race, almost every
lap. Practises sometimes go without any interruptions. I doubt its my
steering system thought, cause it can get stucked in a pit too.

Tried to browse every holes of internet without seeing any similar
problem. Only one mention I found that someone was getting a same
control lost playing with a keyboard. Suspected a display driver, same
what I have.

Heres my system:
Duron 800
Geforce2 MX400 (about a zillion different drivers already tested)
Win 98SE
ECS K7S5A Pro MoBo (crappy product, I know)
ACT-Labs Force RS Steering wheel and pedals.

I have succesfully played the game before (it was another motherboard
though). The problem came with a new MoBo/graphic card.
Anyone else had this kind kinda lost-controls behavior and with which
system? Please help, tired of having had to save the game after every
lap >:-(

You can ask on the GP3 forum of LFRS at
http://www.lfrs.net/bin-ubb/ultimatebb.cgi We do not run GP3 right now, but
when we did one or two drivers reported this problem. I'm not sure if they
found a solution, but it won't hurt to ask :)

Got that Mobo and didn't have a problem with it and GP3 (haven't played
it for a few months).  The only scenario I recall of any steering issue
was when the car wanted to auto pit when I didn't realise and I'd find
the car suddenly going somewhere unexpected when it got near the pit
lane.

Thanks. I might try that :)
