age of 75. He raced Stockcars in the bullrings around Chicago in the mid-late
fifties. When he turned 50, in 1977, he took up drag racing at old Oswego
Dragway in Oswego Illinois, just west of Chicago, running a self built 1975
Nova name "Pretty Baby".
His drink of choice was Crown Royal.
His sport of choice was Auto Racing.
His passion were his Family and Friends,
But the smile on his face and the twinkle in his eye was put there by Mary

Many men talk of being in the shadow of thier Fathers... My Brother and I found
that it wasn't a shadow, but shade. It was his love. It shielded us from harm
and kept us warm and safe from the world, until we ventured out into it on our
own. But we were always able to return to it, whenever we needed his help and
wisdom.
My Father gave us our love of the sport of auto racing, and for that I am truly
grateful. The hours spent at the track, or in front of the television,
discussing the this and the that of the sport were time well spent and will be
remembered forever.
For those of you who I have met here, or in the racing days past on Hawaii, Ten
and VROC, I just felt the need to let you know that a terrific Father, Racer
and Gentleman passed through this world, and left his mark with Brother and
myself.
I'm going to give you simple advice, call your Mother and Father NOW! RIGH
NOW! Tell them you love them, you never know when it will be the last time...
Thanks for listening
