First online race!

Me and two others. One crashed at the start, the other was so slow he decided
to just give it up with two laps remaining. I won, but I was essentially just
racing myself. Boring! I came to VROC seeking new challenges and this is what I
find?! I hope my future races are a little more interesting.

It depends on the track, how many are racing and who they are. I had a
great race with 2 others at Kyalami a while back. One guy went out into
the lead after a turn 1 crash, 2 laps later he'd slowed to make a race
of it. We lapped on the limit for 6 laps never more than 1-2 secs apart.

Unfortunately the main problem with VROC is people disconnecting after a
turn one crash. Why they go to all the bother of qualifying/joining the
race only to give up 200 yards down the track is beyond me. Maybe you
need a race with 10 or so drivers in it. There's usually a bit more
action than when there's only 3 of you.

Usual.  People left because either their cars were all f--ked up or they were far too
behind.

Even if the second guy HADN'T quit, it sounds like he was so far off your pace
it wouldn't have mattered...
It really *isn't* much fun riding around by yourself.  If I had to pay per
minute for my connect time, I might have disco'd also.  If you're paying, I
guess it DOES make sense to find another race.

Never argue with an idiot.  He brings you down to his level, then beats you
with experience...
