GPL v1.2 patch, core.ini differences?

by Peter Gag » Mon, 08 Nov 1999 04:00:00

I've looked at my old core.ini file, and the new core.ini.sample file
from v1.2 patch and there are a few differences.

The new v1.2 core.ini file uses 2/83 for net_mdm send and receive, my
old core.ini uses 3/83?

The new v1.2 core.ini uses a clock adjust of 4, my old core.ini used 8?

The new v1.2 core.ini uses bcast ping disable = 0 and bcast send disable
= 0, my old core.ini used = 1?

What is the general opinion on using the new core.ini file, should we be
using it? or should we use the old core.ini file? or should we use the
new core.ini file, but change the above lines back to 3/83, clock adjust
= 8, and disable = 1?

Your thoughts welcomed....
