How come the qualifying in this game doesn't count.No matter how bad (or
good) i qualify, I'm always 3rd. That's frustrating. What's the point of
qualifying.

Well, I can only think that there is a bug in your program, as I
have never heard of this complaint before. If your game was
working properly, qualifying very much matters, and it becomes
as challenging as the race itself, as you try and obtain
qualifying records.
Why don't you try and update to the latest version of F1GP v1.05
which can be found in http://www.mal.com/~dgymer/home.html along
with lots of other goodies.
