I just got demo derby off the PC Gamers disc, went to load it and it told
me it was searching for a FPU co-processor.  Any one have an idea what this
is...cuz I don't seem to have one.

Math coprocessor.  Found in Pentiums and 486DX chips.  You probably
have a 486SX or some brand 486 that doesn't include a math
coprocessor.  You'll have to buy one to play the game apparently.

FPU = Floating Point Unit (ie. Math co-processor).

DX2/50 has a FPU.

Call the Sony people and complain.
