Problem running Nascar w/ Compap133

Hi,
I recently bought a COMPAQ deskpro5133 It has one of those  Matrox Millenium
MGA 4mb Graphics cards. It's got Win95 installed. Problem is, that it will not
load SVGA games and I can't get anything 640x480 or above in Dos mode. I tried
loading UNIVBE and even that says the performance test fails.  I tried
replacing the card with a Trio 64 PCI and got the same problem which I think
means it's not the card.

Has anyone else had these kind of problems? Is it some osrt of bios thing? I
get the same problem in Duke3d, Nascar, Indycar2, DEscent etc.  Also on my
other 2 computers everything works just fine.  I'd appreciate any advice.

P.S. The fuuny thing is, when you check into the Matrox homepage for help, they
have a picture of Nascar and how great the damn thing runs on it!

Just out of curiosity, are your other 2 systems made by Compaq...?
Don't sweat it with this new system, 2 out of 3 is not bad...

Go into Nascar "Setup" and select the "Make a boot disk" option. Its that
simple!

I have e-mail for help into Matrox too (different problem).  You know
that little trash can on your screen?   I think Matrox uses theirs as
a tech support file.  And, don't call during the day!....
