GBB's new tire settings

GBB, your new tire settings are fantastic!

I wasn't too impressed with F1 2002 when I first played it (a long
time ago).  I've come back to it recently, and have been tweaking away
at the feedback, etc to make it feel better.

The one thing that always irritated me was the fact that the handling
just didn't feel "***y" enough.  You can't really (or I can't
really) feel the tires squirming under load, especially that little
"squidy effect" as the car snaps back into line from mild oversteer.

Your tire settings were the last piece of the puzzle and now I have
the perfect modern racing sim...  well, except for the weak track
modelling, but I can live with that for now...

I passed these settings on to all my friends who also tried F12002
only to go back to GPL.  They've all decided to go back to it because
your tires allow you to really feel the physics engine at work.

Cheers mate.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed them, although they're still ISI's tires just very
slightly tweaked ;-)

I've made another change to the peak camber angles, for anyone else that
wants to try them you can you can download my generic.tbc here:

Just put it in \Season02\Vehicles but remember to back up your original
first.

Your setups will need adjusting a little, the tiers have lower springrates
so you'll need to raise your car a bit to stop it dragging, but then the
ride heights you could get away with by default are unrealistic imo.

Just remember I edited them for personal use, I'm no expert on tire physics,
I'm not saying they're super realistic but I feel from my limited knowledge
they are closer to real life.
