According to Electronics Boutique, it will be released on the 2nd October
1999.

You'll have to make do with Nascar 99 until then. ;-)

ANyone here have some good things about the second GT force wheel and
offcourse the bad thing is the gas problem fixed and is the noise fixed and
is the force reall good.
could somebody answer these questions because the TM looks really cool and
the peddals don't suck at all thanks.

Actually, no one at Papyrus is currently working on N3. We all decided
that it would be best for the security of all our customers if we were to
begin doing pro-bono Y2K work. In fact, we have divided into two
teams--one is working on GPL, which isn't finished yet, and the other is
working on a time machine, since we really have a hard deadline of last
October for shipping GPL. Well, to be honest, once GPL showed up in stores
in early October, we pretty much decided that we should work on Y2K first,
since the time machine guys obviously got the job done. Once that's all
taken care of, and this 2000 bug is wrestled under control, we'll finish
GPL, then start work on N3. It should be possible to ship it anytime you
want, since the time machine seems to work (although it's not finished
yet...)

Uh-oh... now you've done it Dave... the y2k fanatics of this newsgroup
had finally quieted down. Now you have to poke that bee-hive again?
Shame on you! If Nascar series game weren't that good, I probably
wouldn't buy the next one. BUT... I can't help it! I want that game!
