You have the 3Dfx patch? If yes, read the included readme file...

Oh, and make sure you have a Voodoo card plugged in!

First of all, get a 3Dfx card. Secondly, download the 3Dfx patch. After that,
read the Readme3D.txt (you have to add something like n2fxgof=0.1 (everything
from 0.01 to 2.0 will do) to your Nascar batchfile).

I found the best fog setting is when you set it to 0.0. The graphics
do start to look somewhat better.

But, that means no fog. The graphics look the same to me. The fog set
at 0.10 hides the popup so I prefer the fog on myself.

Well I guess that is why they let us change these things. I thought
the fog looked much worse than the popups :-) Even though the
unaccelerated version has jaggies, in many ways it looks clearer.

I tried that, but the "fog" really seems to apply to colors being
applied to textures, it doesn't hide the road popup at all.

Yes, I realized that after I made that post and went and played N2. I
think I'll turn the fog off too.

I have never seen a Real Nascar Race run under fog conditions anyway.
