I have been messing with the paintkits for these 2 games lately. The
ICR2 paintkit completely blows away the Nascar2 paintkit. For one
reason. You can use PSP to put test/numbers & graphics on your
ICR2 car, load the ICR2 palatte and the PCX file will IMPORT just fine.
No touch up, no distorted images... It is just fine. What went wrong
with the Nascar2 Paintkit??? I have spent more time screwing around
with the palattes, copying one car image onto an old  car PCX and
re-saving the file with the intended name, ect... I guess I would like
someone from Papyrus to explain why the Nascar2 Paintkit is so
picky. And whether there will be forthcoming patches for the Paintkit
in general, and a fix so that the N2 Paintkit can be run outside of N2.

I have finished one N2 car so far and it turned out OK. It is an eXceed
(Xwindows emulator software for the PC by Hummingbird software) car.
But after seeing how easy the ICR2 paintkit was (I made an eXceed car
for ICR2), N2's Paintkit just takes too long to work with.
