Anyone using a VooDoo 1 to play DTR?

by btgos » Wed, 08 Dec 1999 04:00:00

I read a post that someone is using an Original Diamond Monster VooDoo 1 to
run DTR. Is anyone else using this card. My buddy has a VooDoo, and can play
the game offline, not online. Also the graphics are "see-through". Kinda
like the ghosy car that some games have. I had him re-install everything,
but no change. So if I can just prove this game works with that card he may
realize that there maybe more problems than his card.
Thanks,
Brit

I have a voodoo1, I have only played the demo offline, but that looked
fine - no graphical glitches. I am using the latest voodoo drivers (the ones
that bring up the new 3dFX logo instead of the original, starry type thing)

It works with a voodoo1 anyway

My teammate uses a voodoo1 card and what he has told me was that in order
for the graphix to look good.  he has to run the game in the lowest
resolution.  Try this it might help.  and as the person before me mentioned.
make sure he has the latest drivers for the voodoo card.
