Using Wheel for NASCAR2 and Monster Truck

I'm presently using V3 InterAct wheel and pedals set with NASCAR2 and would also
like to use this set with Monster Truck Madness 2 Trial.  It works great with
NASCAR2. However, I'm unable to use it with Monster Truck Madness 2 Trial though
I set it to the program's control. Would I need another joystick connection?
Has anyone been faced with this?  Would certainly appreciate help on this.
